Heat it too slowly, and your ink starts to bleed or just refuses to fuse. But if you crank the heat too fast? You get a thermal gradient that can crack a sheet of glass before it even reaches the quench. Not a great way to start the day.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trick with IR heating&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;That’s why we lean on shortwave infrared lamps. Unlike those old-school convection ovens that just bake everything, IR cuts right through the surface. It lets us hit the ink layer directly without soaking the whole slab of glass in heat for way too long.&#xA;Now, you need plenty of power to flash-cure that ink. But here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: if your lamps aren&amp;rsquo;t positioned just right, you get hot spots. Those spots cause the glass to expand unevenly, and that’s exactly where the cracks start.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Keeping it sharp and strong&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;If you want your patterns to look crisp, you have to nail the peak temperature. Too cold, and the ink won&amp;rsquo;t bond. Too hot, and you&amp;rsquo;re either burning the ink or ruining the &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;strength&lt;/a&gt; of the glass. We spend a lot of time calibrating those lamps to hit a very specific &amp;ldquo;sweet spot.&amp;rdquo;&#xA;The ramp-up speed matters too. The faster you heat it, the less time the ink has to wander, which keeps your lines sharp. But that puts a ton of stress on the glass. To handle that, we use staggered lamp arrays. It just helps the heat spread out more naturally across the surface.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;High-intensity IR lamps give you the speed you need to keep a high-volume line moving. But that speed comes with a price.&#xA;It puts a heavy load on your electrical setup, and your lamp housings need serious cooling. If your fans quit, your sockets will burn out.
